Shooting of landscape and architecture
Landscape is a genre of art devoted to the reproduction of the original or modified by human nature. Topics of this genre include urban and industrial landscape. Elements of landscape compositions are often people, animals, architecture, cars, and industrial complexes. One can use different cameras. However, medium and large format cameras, with the size of 6x6, 6x9, 9x12 are much preferable. One can also use different lenses, even the monocle, which gives a blurred picture (this property can be used to solve specific artistic goals).

During the landscapes shooting of, for example such simple, but at the same time very interesting building, as hostel Petersburg, the sun s position should be chosen at an angle 45-60° to the optical axis of the lens, i.e., it should be sideways and slightly behind the camera. It is better to make shots in the morning and evening. It is not recommended to photograph in the midday, since the image is not enough relief because of the short shadows. It is also not recommended to shoot when the sun is behind the camera, - the photos will be flat, without contrasts, self-colored.

Opposite light underlines impressively the silhouette of the object. But we must take care that the rays do not fall directly into the lens, for this case we recommend lens shade. The greater the interval of landscape brightness, the more accurate the exposure should be determined (for example, when we take pictures of landscape with a very dark foreground against the background of white clouds - an interval of brightness should be 1: 500). If light items (say, the trunks of birch trees) are located in the foreground of the composition, the exposure may be less accurate. Aerial haze and gloomy weather reduce further the contrast of the image, thereby facilitating the exposure.
